How it works
- Arrival: Between 9 PM - 10 PM
- Departure: Between 7 AM – 8 AM
- Customized Timing: Minimum of 10 hours. Exact arrival & departure times will be agreed upon between you & your sitter.
This service is ideal for:
- Senior cats who need extra care and overnight monitoring.
- Special Needs cats who require medication or extra attention.
- Kittens who benefit from overnight companionship and a stable routine.
- Cats accustomed to human presence, such as those whose pet parents work from home and want to maintain that sense of security.

Available from 8:00 AM till 9:00 PM
Customized Timing: Timing can be customized
by the client in the booking request.
Additional House Care: Cleaning up any non-habitual kitty accidents, tidying up cat-related areas, disposing of garbage outside, bringing in packages, watering indoor plants, and adjusting blinds and lights as requested.
Medication Administration: Medication given if necessary.
The Sleepover
Household Respect: Sitters will use the provided facilities responsibly and respectfully, cleaning as necessary and disposing of any garbage outside the home.

Private Area for Sitter: Clients are responsible for providing an appropriate private area for the sitter to sleep, including clean bed linens, changing clothes, and shower.

Getting Started as a New Client
Step 1: Request an account on our client portal, Time To Pet, by completing the New Client Form. We’ll respond within 24 hours
to schedule a brief phone call to discuss your needs and confirm our availability. If it’s a good fit, we’ll email you a link to activate
your account and proceed with scheduling your In-Home Meet & Greet consultation.
Step 2: Activate your account, review and sign the service contract, and complete your client and pet profiles. Once your profile is set up, we’ll schedule your Meet & Greet. This visit allows us to meet your pets, learn their routines, review paperwork, and address any questions before their first visit with us.
Step 3: Enjoy peace of mind! We’ll take loving care of your fur family when you need us. For future services, simply request a reservation through the portal or mobile app—it’s that easy!
For the best experience, we highly recommend downloading the Time To Pet mobile app once you’re activated in the client portal.
The app allows you to receive notifications and messages from your sitter directly on your phone, ensuring seamless communication during your booking. You can log in to the app using the same email and password as your Client Portal account.
Meet & Greet
We require an initial Meet & Greet with all new clients. This complimentary service ensures a smooth experience for you, your pets, and your sitter.
- It allows us to get acquainted and ensure everyone is comfortable, as we’ll be in your home while you’re away.
- We’ll learn about your pets’ routines, favorite spots, toys, special needs, and the location of supplies. This is also when we’ll collect keys, fobs, or access codes for your home.
- Meeting your pets with you present helps reduce their anxiety when we visit in your absence.
The Meet & Greet is an essential step to providing the best care for your fur family!
How far in advance should I schedule?
For Drop-In Visits, we recommend booking at least 3 days in advance, & 7 days in Overnight Cat Care, as we limit the number of drop-in visits during these times to provide optimal care.
Holiday Scheduling: Book at least 10 days before your first service date, especially during peak seasons like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day. Our calendar fills quickly, and reservations are first-come, first-served—early booking is highly encouraged!
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to extend an existing booking, please reach out—we’ll prioritize your pet’s care and work with you to ensure they’re covered until you return.
Existing Clients: If you need a last-minute reservation (less than 48 hours’ notice), contact us directly. We’ll do our best to accommodate or refer you to a trusted sitter.
What is your cancellation policy?
- A 50% cancellation fee applies if canceling within 72 hours of a drop-in visit or within 7 days of a “Sleep Over” Overnight Care visit.
- No refunds are issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of any service.
- Cancellations within 7 days of our company holiday periods are non-refundable.
We appreciate your understanding as these policies help us maintain high-quality care and accommodate all our clients effectively.
What is your payment policy?
Invoices are issued upon reservation, similar to booking a flight. Services are not confirmed until full payment is submitted. Payments can be made securely through the Client App or Client Portal by selecting your open invoice and using a stored or new payment method.

Are times guaranteed?
While we strive to accommodate your preferences, specific visit times cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of our service.
- Visits are scheduled within 2-hour arrival windows, and we do our best to meet your requests.
- Priority is given to twice-daily clients, cats requiring medication, and those on a wet food diet.

Will you need a key to my house?
We understand the importance of entrusting someone with access to your home. During our complimentary In-Home Consultation, we’ll meet in person, address any concerns, and typically arrange key pick-up.
If you prefer not to provide keys at the initial consultation, our Key Pick-Up/Drop-Off Service ensures secure and convenient access to your home. This service can be scheduled alongside your Cat Sitting booking.

How often do cats need to be visited?
Although some cats can seem independent, a minimum of one visit per day is recommended to keep your cat healthy and thriving. Regular check-ins are essential to monitor your cat’s health and well-being, ensuring they remain happy and safe throughout your booking. Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! Miami Cat Sitting & Home are holds a Florida business license and are fully insured through Pet Care Insurance. During your Meet & Greet, we’ll gladly share details about our coverage. Full license, insurance, and bonding information is also available upon request.
How do I know if my sitter has arrived and completed my visit?
Your peace of mind is our priority. Through the Time To Pet mobile app, you’ll receive real-time updates, including push notifications when your sitter arrives. At the end of each visit, you’ll get a detailed Report Card featuring GPS tracking, a visit timer, personalized updates, multiple photos, and even short video clips of your pet’s activities. You can also update your pet’s care details in the app, ensuring your sitter stays informed of any changes.
Is my pet sitter background checked?
Absolutely! Every member of our team undergoes a thorough federal background check conducted by ACUTRAQ Background Screening, Inc. We take your trust seriously and are happy to provide details upon request.
